I honestly haven't noticed the Google+ integration that much. Maybe it's just because I hardly use Google+ at all. I don't really see what Facebook's problem is anyway. The majority of the content is in users' private profiles which Google can't index, so those results were never going to get displayed anyway. Twitter has somewhat more of a legitimate complaint, but Google+ is so little used that you're probably going to be looking on Twitter anyway.
